Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef 1 medium onion, finely chopped 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 tablespoon chili powder 1 teaspoon cumin 1 teaspoon paprika 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 1/2 cup tomato sauce Taco shells (hard or soft) Toppings: shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, sour cream, and sliced avocado Instructions: Cook the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until the beef is browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat. Add Aromatics and Spices: Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the beef. Cook until the onion is soft, about 3 minutes. Stir in the chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Simmer: Pour the tomato sauce into the skillet. Stir to combine all the ingredients. Reduce the heat to low and let simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together. Prepare Toppings: While the beef mixture is simmering, prepare your desired toppings. Shred the lettuce, dice the tomatoes, and grate the cheese. Assemble Tacos: Warm the taco shells according to package instructions. Spoon the beef mixture into each shell. Top with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, sour cream, and avocado slices. Serve: Serve your tacos immediately, accompanied by any additional toppings or sides you prefer.
